L&D Take 2

Sooo.. I layed on the couch for a while, in a lot of pain, lots of pressure and having contractions about every 5 mins.. I called the dr. on call and she wanted me to come in. She said my history of quick births, it would be a good idea...Soo.. of course my contractions taper off.. Baby was playing hard too.. His hr went up to 175, hes usually been 140. My bp was 120/78 which is higher for me.Dr. checked me and I was the same, but she did tell me 50% effaced and very soft. I am about a -2. They let me come home early. My contractions started getting further apart, so I asked for some sleeping pills and I got them. Just wanted to let ya know, I am not having a baby today.. Thank goodness.. The pain and pressure I was feeling earlier totally made me rethink the labor thing, lol.. Not sure if it sounds like a good idea anymore.. lmao.. but I am home..

L&D Take One

just got home.. I thought it was it. I haven't ever felt contractions like that.. Made me go potty like seven times and the pressure and crampong w/ the contractions was unbearable.. Soo I callled the dr and she insisted I come in, especially with my history of quick births.. I got there and hooked up all that good stuff.. My contractions started to taper off and I elected to come home.. They gave me some good sleeping pill so I am about ready to go nite nite. I have to take the kids trick or treating tomorrow....Cervix is the same 2, 50% effaced and -2. I am kinda glad this was a false alarm.. I am not sure I am up for doing this right now.. lol.. That pain totally made me rethink this labor thing.. LMAO.. DOesn't sound all that fun now.. lol..And I dont' understand why anyone would want to drink caster oil to get their labor going.. thats nuts... I definteily don't want to S8%T this baby out..

Sooo.. I am up 22 pounds blah. But I did enjoy the goodies that got me there :)
The dr. could not find baby's heartbeat for like five mins, don't know why, but he finally dug around and found it, and it was 140 bpm. My bp was 116/78. Dr. checked me and I haven't done ANYTHING since last week :( Pooh. But I passed my Group Strep B this time!! YAY!!!!! I was super positive with Matthew so this is good, no icky antibiotics in my iv!!! And they can strip my membranes, I asked, I might get it done next week, or I might have to wait to 39 weeks. blah. Dr. said baby is on the "Bigger" side. Not something I wanted to hear. I am measuring 38 weeks too..

35 week Appointment

Sooo I am dialated to 2, the dr. could feel the babys head poking out and I am effacing ( he didn't say how much though ) Hes at least 6 pounds but probably 6 1/2. Dr. doesn't think I will make it to my due date, but didn't think I would deliver in the next couple days. Blood pressure was 108/78, babys hr was 150 and I gained 4 pounds in two weeks!! I soo should have not have the 2 cinnamon rolls for breakfast!! LOL.. He didn't have any advice for my cramping, and restlessness. I told him I couldn't have the baby this weekend or before Halloween and it made him giggle. I hope Jack stays put until after then but gosh, I don't want to birth a moose either!I go back next Thursday for a check up. They did my strep b today. They told me if I am negative I don't have to have antibiotics :::: crossing fingers:::: that was the worst part of my labor with Matthew was the ice cold meds in my arm..

33 Week Appointment

Went to Dr. Boyle today. I didn't gain any weight this time and my pb was 101/60. I am measuring right on target this time, which is good. The last six weeks or so I was measuring 2 weeks ahead. Yay for not having an ultra large baby. Baby's heartrate was 140 and everything looked good. I go back on the 19th for my next check up. Get to do the Strep B then. OHH Joy :)
